Canals and rivers of Maijkhapan Union
Maijkhapan Union's two rivers and four canal schools.
River Mother Country Bangladesh. The lives of the rivers of the country. Hundreds of small major rivers are spread across the country. The rivers and ports and the hatt market etc. have been formed on both sides of the river. The rivers of Maijkhapan Union are no exception. Nanshunda and Dhaleshwari river have been built on both sides of the settlement. River-canal canal bill is an amazing beauty of natural beauty. The river which gets its origin in the river is the source of the river and the place where the ocean or lake meets, it is an estuarine place. On the way to the river, sometimes other small rivers or water bodies join together and flow - these are known as tahanadi. A river and its tributaries together form a river system or river system. The surface is never completely flat. The importance of these rivers is very important in the development of the union, land settlement, settlement of the union, crop production, water sharing, trade and socio-economic activities, and in the development of its own culture.
1. Narasunda
Narsunda river Husainpur - connected to Brahmaputra near the border of Pakundia. On the other side, it is connected to river Dhanu near Badlna of Itna upazila. Locally known as "Chauganga". Narsunda is widely regarded as the branch of Brahmaputra. In Kishoreganj the original Narasunda river is about 30 miles (about 58 km). Once, Kishoreganj was the main attraction of the city, Narasunda and Adabdi, it divided Kishoreganj town into two groups. Many stories, stories, legends, romanticism about this, Kishoreganj's mind still remains in mind. Kishoreganj people are now dreaming about the dead Narasunda. The present government is planning to excavate Narasunda and make a pleasant lake. If implemented, Kishoreganj will attract tourists attention as a pleasant city.
2. Dhaleshwari:
This river is a branch of river Meghna. Origin of the river from Meghna river in Astagram. The river divides Taherganj and Nilganj Puran Bazar of Maijkhapan Union. These two rivers have been established in the Nilgonj Bazar of Narsunda river Maijkhapan union and have divided the Nilgonj Bazar and Milanganj Bazar.

 There are four canals in the canal:
1. Kaliakudi, 2. Chandrakhal, 3 Fulbariyakhal, 4.Lawakhali
